B2B "Back to Blogging"

We're back from a long break away from blogging. This summer has flown by and we are gearing up for a busy fall. Brett will begin a 12 week internship next week to complete his Masters of Occupational Therapy program. Lizzi is currently very busy with her high energy toddler boys and her sweet little baby. We are thankful our little one is so laid back and kissable.

the lake and cousin sleepover

Seth's 3/4 mile stretch on our hike at the lake

Hiking the big hill at the lake got to be too much for both the boys...so big strong Daddy carried them both up the hill : )

Seth soaking up some rays on the beach

Daddy made everyone a yummy pancake breakfast after the cousins slept over at our house. We had a lot of fun on one of their first of many cousins sleepovers!!

tons. of. mud.

Do boys ever get enough of mud??? Right now my little guys are seriously in love with the stuff. They see a puddle, big or small, and it calls their name. This is just one of the many mud outings they have had recently--with Daddy of course ; ). I am reminding myself to let boys be boys and just savor the sheer delight it brings them...and not think too much about the extra laundry piling up right in front of my eyes!

(ok, i admit, my parents are redoing a lot of their backyard and I actually let the boys just run around in the huge dirt pile and threw them directly into the tub after!)

random days

water time

The boys are TOTALLY in the middle of a water/mud/mud/mud phase. On nice days, it's such a great form of entertainment, just turn on the sprinkler and let them go!

Here's a very small photo update on what's been happening in our lives lately! It's been almost a year since I last updated our blog. We are expecting another little Hughes boy in July! Brett is graduating from EWU with his Master's in Occupational Therapy in June (with a few months of internships left to go...but a LOT less homework!!) Life is so full and we are blessed everyday by God's faithful hand providing for us everything we need.
